Daisy Rushton started singing in primary school, before earning a place in the Tiffin Boys Choir in 2007, where she was in a production of Tannhauser at the Royal Opera House (2010). She continued to sing at Tiffin until 2014. In 2015 she began to sing at UCL, joining the UCL Symphony Chorus, A Capella and Chamber Choir, and performing in choruses in Donizetti’s La Favorite, Verdi’s Aroldo & Collision by Lewis Coenen-Rowe. After graduating, she joined the London Philharmonic Choir in 2021, and in Jan 2023 she was cast as 1st Priest in Mozart’s Magic Flute with Harrow Opera. She also sang in the choruses for La Boheme at Putney Festival & HMS Pinafore at St Mary’s Putney. In September 2023 she started a choral scholarship at St Mary Magdalene Richmond. Her most recent role is/was Song Vendor in Puccini’s Il Tabarro (Harrow Opera)
Over a 17 year career she has sung Treble, Alto, Bass and now has settled as a tenor.
