Vivek Haria, a British composer and Bass of Indian heritage, embarked on his musical journey as a singer at the Royal College of Music Junior Department. Later, he pursued a Music degree at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he also served as a choral scholar.

Now primarily focused on composition, Vivek's works have resonated with audiences across prestigious ensembles such as the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and the Piatti Quartet. His achievements include being a finalist in the Prix Annelie de Man Composers Competition 2023 and premiering a new work for acclaimed players Mahan Esfahani and Fenella Humphreys at the Cheltenham Composer Academy 2022. Notably, he has written for members of the London Symphony Orchestra as an Associate on their Soundhub scheme and has recently been commissioned to write a new work for The Marian Consort.

Despite his focus on composition, Vivek remains active as a singer in various professional choirs across London. With a background in premiering contemporary operas during his student days, this project marks his inaugural professional performance as a Bass.
